About me
I'm a designer and artist living in North London with my wife Charlotte, my elder-statesman cat Hugi and one my one-eyed rescue spaniel, Eddie.

I've spent most of my career as a creative in the music industry, working with the likes of Iggy Pop, Iron Maiden, Manic Street Preachers among many other artists. But I've also found time for non-music design work with the European Space Agency, Final Fantasy and the Green Party.

And through everything, painting has always been a part of my life. And when Covid hit, I found myself drawn to portraiture as the lack of options forced me into painting friends via webcam. A dreadfully sad time, but also tainted with happiness as I connected with people I hadn't seen in a while. And after the calls ended, I stared at their faces and tried to replicate that human connection in oil paint.

Since then I have been painting portraits mostly and was lucky enough to be selected for the new series of Sky Arts 'Portrait Artist Of The Year'.
